A Life of Worship: 2012 GCMC Staff Conference
The annual GCMC Staff Conference will be April 16-19 at Maumee Bay Resort in Ohio again this year. We are looking forward to three days of refreshment and fellowship! We will be spending three nights and three days at Maumee Bay Resort starting at registration on Monday afternoon, April 16, until breakfast the morning of April 19. Due to the start time Monday evening, dinner will NOT be provided for Monday evening April 16, but the remainder of the meals are included in the registration fee.

Family Meals -
If you are bringing your family to the conference you can choose to either provide your own food for your family or have them join the group meal times. If you would like to have them join the group meal times the cost will be:
$164 for your spouse
$0 per child 5 & under
$64 per child ages 6- 11
$164 per child ages 12 & up

To register for Spouse or Child Meal Packages you will need to select the appropriate packages under "additional items" during registration.

EXAMPLE: If you have 2 children ages 6-11 and 1 child ages 12 & up you would select both the:
• $ 164 – Child Meal Package – 2 children, ages 6 - 11
• $ 164 – Child Meal Package – 1 child, age 12 & up
That would bring the childrens meals total to $328. This would be added to your registration fee.

This webinar is open to all GCM staff. Please note that all staff in the Initial phase of MTD are expected to attend. We will take time to connect with each other and will be reminded of some things we may have forgotten from training. There will also be an opportunity for questions. We look forward to “seeing” you there.

Virginia Beach Leadership Training 2012

'The Heart of the City' Summer Intern Project is designed to offer young, emerging leaders a dynamic hands-on ministry experience in the urban culture. This is available to students who have finished at least one year of college. Shepherd Community Center has a rich history of working with college student interns for the past eighteen years. You will be immersed in ministry with children and teens during the day which may include: teaching day camps, mentoring students in college applications, evangelistic outreaches, and small work projects. Spiritual and personal development will be fostered in a community atmosphere with thirty-five student interns on the project. There will be excellent training, discipleship, and a staff mentor for the summer. Your housing and meals will be provided. you will also be given a small per diem of $80 / week during the summer to help with incidental expenses. This will be one highest quality and least expensive full-summer mission projects you can find. This is a specialized, invite-only, training for those entering the Short-Term Intern program with Riverview Church. The training will focus on the skills and philosophy of building a financial support team, as well as the required elements of working with GCM.

LT is a summer-long program for believers who desire to be transformed into people who impact their world as they live out their faith. Set in the foothills of the Adirondack region of upstate New York, this program will help you to grow deeper in your faith, learn how to represent Jesus to the world around you, and develop a more Biblical worldview for your life.
