Becoming Masters at our Craft Imagine a young apprentice entering their chosen vacation as a carpenter, beautician, electrician, or chef. They are beginners with a desire to be a journeyman -- a master at their craft. In a similar way, we entered ministry untrained and inexperienced, with the same goal -- to become skilled ministers, mature for every good work. And we have an additional motivation. Whatever we do, we work at it with all our heart because we are working for the Lord, not for men. Where are you in your apprenticeship as the Lord's ambassador? Where do you want to be? In everything--from evangelism to loving deeply from the heart--don't we all desire to be more effective? What holds us back from becoming a master at our craft? Our focus this year at ELG is to "fan into flame" the fire inside us to become masters: men and women mature in the faith and skilled in the work of the Kingdom. Registration Registration will begin at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 6. The conference will begin at 7:00 p.m. that evening and will run until noon on Thursday, November 8. Location ELG will be held in Orlando, FL, at the Embassy Suites near the Orlando International Airport. Hotel Information We have included all hotel costs for this year's ELG with the registration fee. We will be staying and hosting the conference at the Embassy Suites - Orlando Airport. The regular registration fee is for a double occupancy room and includes free internet access. If you have a roommate preference, please email this to Heather Dull. If you do not supply a name, we will try to assign another staff member from your location to your room. You may select the single occupancy additional fee if you prefer to have a room to yourself. For families or couples where the spouse will NOT be attending ELG but would like to be in Orlando, please select the single occupancy additional fee after selecting register. For couples where both individuals will be attending ELG, please have each person register seperately with the regular rate which assumes double occupancy. If you are interested in staying at the hotel additional days before or after ELG, please contact Heather Dull at the GCM office for more information. Meals A full breakfast buffet is included each morning. The Embassy Suites offers room service as well as its own cafe serving lunch and dinner.
